By joining PASA, The Professional Air Sports Association, you will become a part of a network that is committed to making our sport safer, while preserving the beach access to our favorite locations. There are four different classifications of membership.
Membership Levels
Professional Member (Instructor)
PASA Certified School (Independent of the instructor membership
PASA Kiteboarder
If you are looking to become certified as a PASA Kiteboarder, level 1, level 2, or level 3, you must be signed off by a PASA Certified Instructor. This does not mean you need to take a lesson from them. However, you do need to list the name of a PASA Certified Instructor that can verify your skill level on the membership form. Only current PASA Certified Instructors can certify Kiteboarders.
To become certified as a PASA Kiteboarder and receive your certification card, please register as a PASA Kiteboarder.

Annual dues for this membership are $15.00

Professional Member
These are kiteboarders looking to become instructors and obtain their certification through the PASA Instructor Certification Program (ICP). PASA certification, current membership, First Aid and CPR certification are requirements for insurance eligibility. You will not become a PASA certified instructor until you have passed the ICP course AND turned in all of the required paperwork. Your Instructor Certification renews a year from the date of your professional membership, NOT a year from the date that you turn in your paperwork to complete certification.

To become a PASA Certified school you must meet all the PASA Certified School Requirements.

- A school listing for your schools under the PASA Certified School list that you can edit

Annual dues for this membership are $150. You must contact PASA to become a Certified School Member
Industry Members
These may include manufacturers, retailers, non-profit organizations, private individuals, and the media.
Support PASA to help promote a complete certification system from beginner to advanced pilots. This unifies teaching levels across the USA and helps ensure quality instructors, which produce quality students.
This results in safe kiteboarders on your local beaches and preserves the sport.
